TITLE: Assistant Restaurant Manager
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field; 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in operations management, customer service management, business administration, financial operations, restaurant operations, or a related occupation.
JOB DUTIES: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, to ensure efficient service, consistent quality and high customer satisfaction. Monitor budgets, payroll records, and financial transactions to ensure expenditures are properly authorized and controlled. Supervise and direct Shift Leaders and front-of-house staff, including servers and cashiers to ensure proper workflow and service standards. Prepare, coordinate and monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage, optimize labor utilization, and control labor costs. Train, mentor, and evaluate employees, including Shift Leaders, to maintain performance standards. Support in hiring, onboarding, performance management and disciplinary processes in coordination with upper management. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Coordinate equipment maintenance, facility repairs, and vendor services to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies to maintain operational efficiency. Track labor, inventory and operating costs and assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue monitoring. Collaborate with General Manager to improve service quality and operational performance. Resolve customer complaints and service issues while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. Review sales reports, labor reports, and operational data to support management decision-making and achievement of business objectives.
SALARY: $87,000 per year.
